The Stratfords B&B and Guesthouse is located in a quiet village just outside of
the historic market town of Stony Stratford. Here the two Princes stayed on their way to meet with their unfortunate
deaths in the Tower of London. Patrons of two of many historic Coaching Inns in the town, The Bull Hotel and The Cock Hotel vied
with each other to see who could tell the most outrageous tale. Even today, the term "Cock and Bull" story is in
everyday use!
The High Street is packed with specialist shops, pubs old and not so old and restaurants that
provide award winning cuisine from Thailand, Malasia, India and China. For those on the run, fast food outlets are plentiful
and a good old-fashioned English roast can be found in The Old George most lunchtimes.
